Optimization of the process of reading digital signals with a logic analyzer

We propose a logic analyzer architecture designed for long-term «blind» monitoring of digital systems with limited data volume and bandwidth. It is shown that classical uniform sampling with a fixed frequency quickly leads to inconsistent acquisitions. A set of methods is proposed, including adaptive sampling based on an activity metric, event-driven transition coding, and a multi-level memory subsystem with trigger-based segmented acquisition and a backpressure mechanism.

Keywords: logic analyzer, event-driven recording, adaptive sampling, trigger-based acquisition, glitch, protocol segmentation, multi-level memory.

Procedure for calculation of two-layer structures of tense resistive pressure sensors and other physical quantities

A new method for calculating stresses and deformations at the surface points of two-layer elastic structures under load is presented. Formulas are given for calculation of required values in characteristic zones of strain gauges arrangement on the crystal surface of membrane pressure sensors and other physical values. Graphs are shown to find several related quantities.

Keywords: crystal, sensor, two-layer elastic element, membrane, deformation, stress, bending moment, force, modulus of elasticity, virtual modulus of elasticity.

A distributed information and measurement system for monitoring the environmental condition of territorial facilities. Part 1. Structural organization of hardware and software

The article discusses the structure of a distributed information and measurement system for environmental monitoring of territorial facilities, focused on early detection of emergency situations and comprehensive environmental impact assessment. The proposed system includes not only subsystems for data collection and visualization, but also algorithmic support for the formation of complex standardized assessments of the state of territorial objects in order to ensure their safe development. A probabilistic approach to the formation of requirements for the metrological characteristics of measuring instruments is proposed, which minimizes the risk of missing emergencies. A geodata database structure has been developed that combines spatial, attribute, and measurement information. The presented architectural and algorithmic solutions are aimed at improving the effectiveness of environmental monitoring and providing support for managerial decision-making in the management of developing territories.

Keywords: information and measurement system, environmental monitoring, measuring instruments, measurement uncertainty, integrated assessment, normalized impact index, geodata database, emergency situation.

Assessment of the maximum possible lift height of an air-based instrument platform with a cable power supply

A multirotor quadcopter-type flying platform is considered as a base for instrumentation. Power is supplied to the platform via a cable from a ground source to ensure long-term airborne operation. A theoretical analysis of the factors influencing maximum lift altitude is provided, along with analytical calculations and experimental results.

Keywords: airborne instrument platform, power cable, maximum altitude calculation, UAV.

Incident model of the work of electrical installation sections for manufacturing aircraft internal wiring harnesses

An incident model for planning the loading of electrical installation sites in the conditions of small-scale production of aircraft in-block harnesses is proposed. The model takes into account the random nature of interruptions of technological operations and allows to estimate the equipment loading factor, optimize the volume of production tasks and minimize losses in personnel remuneration. The main result is the development of a mathematical apparatus for forecasting the loading of the site and reducing the negative impact of incident downtime on production efficiency.

Keywords: small-scale production, electrical installation sections for manufacturing aircraft internal wiring harnesses, utilization rate, incident interruption, mathematical modeling, and process development.

Magnetron Synthesis of Oxide Layers in Glow Discharge Plasma. Hysteresis Phenomena. Attractors

The processes of magnetron synthesis of doped zinc oxide-based layers have been investigated. The current-voltage characteristics of a magnetron discharge during DC magnetron sputtering of non-stoichiometric doped ZnO-based targets have been studied. Particular attention is paid to hysteresis phenomena and oscillations in the region of abnormal glow discharge. It is shown that in the abnormal glow discharge region, hysteresis phenomena of «oxidation–metallization» occur on the target surface at a frequency of 10 kHz. Ways to improve the structure of the synthesized layers are analyzed.

Keywords: magnetron sputtering, doped oxide layers, hysteresis phenomena, self-organization, target stoichiometry, attractors.

Incorporating Normal Distribution of Radiation Parameter Fluctuations in Modeling Optical Characteristics of Thin Films and Multilayer Structures

When calculating the reflection and transmission coefficients of coatings – particularly for multilayer structures with layers of varying thicknesses – it is recommended to use the averaging method. This method assumes that deviations in the phase and frequency of the light wave follow a normal distribution. While this approach entails higher computational costs compared to some alternative methods, it offers significant versatility. It eliminates the need for a preliminary assessment of layer coherence and avoids subsequent software modifications when the characteristics of the radiation source change. The method proves especially effective for partially coherent layers.

Keywords: normal distribution, coherence, phase, reflection coefficient, transmission coefficient, multilayer structure.
