About our measurements, goals and objectives

The purpose of the article is to consider the current situation in the field of measurement and presenting opinions on the possible improvement of metrological activity. The article considers the issues of certification of measuring instruments their calibration, organization and performance; discusses the goals and objectives of creating metrological services at enterprises, the role of metrological expertise and measurement methods, and also draws attention to possible promising approaches to the improvement of measurements, instrument engineering and metrology.

Thermal measuring installations on the basis of heat flux sensors

The proposes and experimentally studies the thermal measuring installation for measuring the thermal resistance and thermal conductivity of thin layers of materials, as well as high values of thermal conductivity and blackness coefficient of coatings in this article considered. The principle operation of the installation is based on the use of contact heat flow sensors. The results of research installation presented.

Optoelectronic device for control of cotton-raw humidity

The article discusses the principles of constructing an optoelectronic device for controlling the humidity of raw cotton. A mathematical model, a block diagram and time diagrams of an optoelectronic device for controlling the humidity of raw cotton are given.

The study of the influence of temperature effects on the output signal of the eddy-current transducer using simulation modeling

A model of eddy-current transducer is constructed taking into account the influence of the main destabilizing factor-temperature. The effect of temperature on the two-element and three-element (synthesized) equivalent circuit of the eddy current transducer is estimated. The possibilities of independent separate measurement of informative and non-informative parameters of the equivalent circuit are considered. Circuit solution of eliminating a non-informative parameter using a quasi-differential circuit made it possible to significantly reduce by 37 % the additional temperature error. In addition to the effect of temperature, the effect of non-compensation of the initial inductance on the output signal of the eddy current transducer is estimated.

Optimization of method of multi-layered filters for measuring the dispersity of radioactive aerosols in the ventilation emissions NPP

The work is devoted to optimization of the method of multilayer filters. The developed air-filter mobile unit is described. Also, information about the developed specialized software that allows carrying calculations of the dispersed composition of aerosols is provided.

Compensation of the angular etching of silicon structures during etching in a solution of potassium hydroxide

Methods for compensating for the angular misalignment of the outer corners of silicon micromechanical structures during etching in potassium hydroxide solution KOH are considered. Many existing models do not take into account the topological features of the structures being formed, in particular the distance from the compensating elements to the neighboring elements or to the edge of the mask. The possibility of compensating the angular misalignment on the basis of compensators of complex shape is shown. Their use makes it possible to increase the possible depth of etching while preserving the geometric dimensions of the compensators in comparison with the known ones.

Metrological assurance assessment for optical parameters measurements of the road pavement

The article contains a metrological assurance assessment for optical parameters measurements of the road pavement, which determine their luminance. The regulatory requirements for the luminance characteristics for road pavements, methods and measuring instruments, main sources of uncertainty of measurement results were analyzed. According to the results of the assurance assessment for optical parameters measurements of the road pavement, the main directions for its improvement were formulated.

Multiversion technology of increasing the reliability of production-ecological monitoring measurable parameters

The paper reviews the problem of industrial and environmental monitoring of thermal power plants impact on the environment. The paper gives regulating documents helping to solve the task. The problem of obtaining reliable values for multipoint measurement of parameters of industrial and environmental monitoring is described. The authors propose the solution to solve the problem by using multiversion decision models. The implementation of the simulation environment for the study of the proposed approach is considered. The results obtained by using the developed simulation environment are analyzed, which makes it possible to conclude that multi-diversion technology effectively supports multipoint measurements of environmental monitoring parameters, moreover it not only solves the problem of obtaining a parameter value from a variety of measurements, but also increases the reliability of the obtained data.
