Study on the possibility of measuring the electropotential method of depth of surface cracks in mesh crack

In the article, a study of electrical potential signals of the probe if in the control zone of several parallel to each other on top surface cracks. On the basis of calculations conducted by the finite element method, semi-trated assessment of mutual influence of the parameters of closely-spaced cracks on the signals recorded in the measurements of electrical potential method. We investigated the scheme of measurement with the electrodes of the transducer, placed at the vertices of a rectangle. This placement of electrodes allows obtaining the best locality control needed for measurements in the zone of mesh of cracks. The results of this study are important to measure the depth of surface cracks that develop, for example, in gas pipelines on the mechanism of stress corrosion and having the form of a grid of cracks, parallel to each other.

Influence of material of the protective measuring cell on determination of heatphysical properties disperse the materials modified with the help carbon nanotubes and nanofibres

The method of determination of heatphysical properties of flat samples of the disperse materials modified by means of carbon nanotubes and nanofibres in which the measuring device represents three-layer system is shown. The plate from the studied material contacts on the one hand to a package from two reference materials in which temperature sensors are located. Between reference plates there is a flat heater, and on external borders of the measuring device constant temperature is maintained. The design of the protective measuring cell allowing to keep initial moisture content during experiment of the studied nanostructured disperse material is shown.

Risk assessment for a calibration laboratory in the case of accreditation criteria non-fulfillment

The issues of the possibility of events that can take place as a result of justifying the accredited official competence concerning the accreditation criteria of the national accreditation system correspondence with the purpose of taking decision about the advisability of having laboratory accreditation are analyzed in the paper.

National primary standard of the unit kinematic viscosity of the liquid GET 17-96

This article describes the standard unit of kinematic viscosity of the fluid, approved in 1996 as the state primary standard (GET 17-96), considered its structure and function, as well as its metrological characteristics. Also, the article describes the activities of the research laboratory of the state standards in the field of viscosity and density measurements.

Technical regulation of fire safety of the static electricity system electrostatic spark safety

The Russian system of electrostatic safety of a spark does not have analogies. It represents two physical borders of the electrostatic phenomena and three technical systems of protection against electrostatic dangers. The density of energy of an electrostatic field in air and in firm or liquid insulators can differ in 102...103 time. Therefore there are two sets of the physical phenomena divided by a power barrier. In one of them (in air) occurrence of static electricity discharge is probable, when the potential difference of a static electricity in a discharge gap will be more than 320 V (F. Pashena's law). In other when intensity of an electrostatic field in firm or liquid insulators will be more half of their electric durability. Photonics 2016

Surveillance and analytical article briefly informs about the Photonics exhibition in 2016, which was held in the exhibition complex Expocenter on 14-17 March 2016 in Moscow (Russia). The exposition was presented to many types of laser technology, optoelectronics devices, equipment and technology based on them. Hardware overview presented at the stands of the participants carried out by functional groups. Business program consisted of several well-known companies and workshops took place simultaneously with the exhibition.
