Peculiarities of HF thermal converters employing for precision measurement of true rms voltage on very low frequencies

This article dedicates to characteristics of electronic measurement units, thermal converters, which employs, as thermal comparator, for measurement true rms voltage at high and low frequencies by compare unknown AC voltage and auxiliary certain DC voltage. Sources of mistakes for very low frequencies (from 100 to 1 Hz) are analyzing. Recommendation to design and application are giving.

LabVIEW experimental models of instruments

Features of instrument modeling in the graphic programming environment LabVIEW are considered. The models created on the basis of experimental data and construction experimental transfer function are described. The concrete example is given.

Algorithmic support and software for distributed information measurement and control energy consumption monitoring systems

Principles of construction of information-measuring and operating systems, the organization of their program and algorithmic maintenance are considered. Algorithms of control and identification of preemergencies from the point of view of power consumption are considered. Questions of control and management of a microclimate indoors, and also questions of reception of trustworthy information on a current condition of controllable process are considered.

Nonstationary method for emissive coefficient measurement of the thermal protection materials

Two versions of the modified nonstationary method for emissive coefficient measurement of the thermal protection materials are offered. This method is based on the sample temperature measurement during its cooling and heat conductivity inverse problems use. Accuracy of emissive coefficient measurement increasing is reached by taking into account the sample temperature field non-uniformity.

Thermal properties control of carbon materials

Some instruments for measuring thermal conductivity (TC) and coefficient of thermal linear expansion (CTLE) controlling the variety of carbon products according to international standards of the above mentioned properties are given.
The improved unite of the device for thermal conductivity measuring -30̻ with the TC range from 2,5 to 250 (W / mK) is presented. Another device -200 is under consumption to control the thermal conductivity of grain and solid materials with the TC range from 0,1 to 15 (W / mK).
Two dilatometers to control (CTLE) are given. One of them is the dilatometers with quarts push rod with CTIE range (0,5...15)106 K1 and the range of measuring temperatures from 20 to 800 C. Another one is the interference dilatometer to control special solid materials with the CTIE less than 0,5106 K1.

Evaluation of unaccounted power losses error at series-connected transmission power line and power reactor

In accounting of electrical power using the automated measuring systems the unaccounted electrical power losses occur due to non coincidence of the supply point and the measurement point. When a power reactor is placed after a transmission power line an additional source of error appears. This source of error is caused by the fact that the increase transmission power line loss due to losses in power reactor non account. An estimation of this source of error is proposed in this article.

Defining necessity of thermocouples recalibration

Defining necessity of thermocouples recalibration, i.e. defining moment of time when thermocouples readings may not show real temperature is important question. Authors offer a way of solution for this problem in presented article. Main idea of solution is using two similar but not identical thermocouples that has different sensitivity to factors changing its Seebeck coefficient during use. While thermocouples are used both reading are fixed and difference of it is calculated. Necessity of recalibration is becoming obvious when this difference changes on value greater than uncertainty of its defining.
