Temperature in nanotechnology

It have been highlighted a number of promising methods for controlling the temperature of the micro-and nano-sized objects on the basis of different methods of temperature measuring consideration, including the direct and indirect methods. Exploring the possibility of temperature concept to its description, it have been discussed the problems of the measurement results representation taking into account the fluctuation properties of thermometric materials as well as the fluctuations of transfer processes (thermodynamics flows and forces) between the controlled environment and thermometric materials during the measurement.

The measurement of the pressure using the SmS-based baroresistors in ice, in water and in frozen ground

The results of the experiments on measuring the pressure using the samarium sulphide based baroresistors in various mediums are given. Primary properties are described and the main formulae are presented. It is shown that such baroresistors can be used to measure pressures, exceeding 1 MPa, in ice, in water and in frozen ground.

Robot TOURIST in the research program RS-500

The subject of this article is the general design concept of a mars rover TOURIST for the program RS-500. Here you can find the description of construction, including the chassis, a control device and a robot arm-manipulator. The mars rover is remote controlled with the help of the built in video cameras.

The superhigh-frequency control of humidity shixt in the technological stream

In article pressing questions designing of microwave system on the basis of a superhigh-frequency method where the MICROWAVE-module provides use of an industrial-analytical complex of the exact chemical compound of great volumes of loose materials intended for definition transported on conveyors are considered.

Dielectric relaxation constant measurements of volume charge in hydrocarbons

One of the most important requirements for transferring operations on tankers, which transporting gas condensate, hydrocarbon fuels, is the fire and explosion safety. For meeting these requirements it is necessary to calculate correct speed of fuel movement through the pipeline. For proper planning of fuel transferring strategies knowledge of specific fuel parameters is needed, in particular, the dielectric relaxation constant of volume charge. The special device, designed to measure these parameters, as well as circuit design used in this device, will be discussed in this article.

Cutting area temperature measurement in high-speed milling

The research of temperature conditions in cutting zone in high-speed milling of steel has been carried out. The mathematical model of temperature distribution in the workpiece was developed. Heat flush to the workpiece has been defined and temperature in a cutting zone has been estimated as a result of technological experiment. Direct cutting zone temperature measurement was made using especially-thin thermocouples having small thermal inertia, that were welded to the workpiece on a depth equal to chip-thickness, which were cut out during experiment.

Video control system of preparation positioning on subject table in laser cutting machines

Laser cutting machines RT-350 and RP-500 of brittle non-metallic materials are considered. Laser cutting machines control system (LaserCut v.3.0) is described. Video control system is described, hardware and software part. Arrangement method silicon wafer are stated.
